Mr. Dangaran, Associate Attorney, represents self-insured employers, third-party administrators and corporations in all aspects of workers’ compensation.
Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Mr. Dangaran was a partner at Bagby, Gajdos & Zachary in Anaheim, also practicing workers’ compensation defense. As an equity holder, he was responsible for business development and cultivating client relations. He managed several members of the legal staff while handling more than 100 cases from opening to resolution.
At Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi in Anaheim, Mr. Dangaran was a Senior Associate responsible for more than 120 workers’ compensation defense files. There, too, he managed and mentored several other attorneys, and brought new clients to the firm. Earlier in his career, he worked for the same firm as an Associate Attorney, and managed its defense on behalf of CIGA against NFL claims. During that time, he developed expertise in 132a and serious & willful claims, and represented the firm as a seminar speaker on SB 863.
As Managing Partner at Bennett, Jacobs & Adams in Long Beach, Mr. Dangaran oversaw the operations of a Florida legal firm’s effort to open a California office defending employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims. In addition to handing more than 150 files, he conducted seminars in California workers’ comp law for Florida adjusters.
Mr. Dangaran practiced corporate law and estate planning as an Associate Attorney at Legate, Law & Campbell in Irvine, after starting his career as an Associate Attorney in workers’ compensation defense at Bredfeldt, Corson & Odukoya in Costa Mesa.
Mr. Dangaran received his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where he was a published Staff Member, then Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal. He also has credits toward an LL.M. degree at Loyola Law School, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for corporate tax. Mr. Dangaran’s undergraduate degree is from the University of California, Irvine, where he was on the Dean’s List.
