Ani Matevosyan

Ms. Matevosyan, Senior Attorney, represents insurance carriers, self-insured employers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation.

Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Ms. Matevosyan was an Associate Attorney for Colantoni, Collins, Marren, Phillips & Tulk in Los Angeles, managing a caseload of more than 100 files in workers’ compensation defense from initiation through resolution. Prior to that, she was an Associate Attorney for Hayford & Felchlin in Los Angeles, also practicing workers’ compensation defense. She has appeared before WCABs throughout Southern California.

As a Legal Assistant for the Immigration Center for Women and Children in Los Angeles, Ms. Matevosyan conducted interviews and prepared files for issues relating to nonimmigrant visas, the Violence Against Women Act, permanent residency, guardianship and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. She appeared at hearings before the Superior Court. As a Law Clerk for the business law firm of Gonzalez & Associates in Los Angeles, Ms. Matevosyan conducted research and drafted documents relating to Chapter 7 trustee and civil forms and prepared requests for entry of default judgments.

Ms. Matevosyan received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she was the recipient of the Martin & Ordubegian Scholarship. She served as secretary, then president of the Armenian Law Students Association. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine, where she was on the Dean’s List and was a member of the Armenian Students Association.
