Mr. Koh, Associate Attorney, represents self-insured employers, third-party administrators and corporations in all aspects of workers’ compensation. In addition to developing the legal strategy for his cases, he’s particularly skilled in conducting depositions of applicants and medical practitioners.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Koh was an Associate Attorney at Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi in Anaheim, practicing exclusively worker’s compensation defense. He also conducted seminars for the firm’s clients on affirmative defense and current case law. At Domingo Elias & Vu in Brea, Mr. Koh was an Associate Attorney for several years before being promoted to Supervising Attorney. He handled files from conception to resolution in defense of workers’ comp claims, and supervised junior attorneys and hearing representatives. Appearing before WCABs throughout California, he obtained favorable outcomes in several take-nothing cases and case-in-chief trials.
Mr. Koh’s introduction to the legal profession was as a Hearing Representative at the Law Offices of Henry Khalili in Santa Ana. Working on the applicant side of litigation, he handled the lien interests of various parties involved in those claims. He attended status, lien and mandatory settlement conferences.
Before law school, Mr. Koh was a Tutor for students preparing for the SAT tests.
Mr. Koh received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, where he was a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.
Mr. Koh speaks conversational Korean.
