Ms. Nasser, Associate Attorney, represents insurance carriers, self-insured employers, third-party administrators and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation. She is responsible for case management from inception to resolution, and appears before WCABs throughout Northern California.

Ms. Nasser was an Associate Attorney at Bradford & Barthel in Sacramento, also defending employers in workers’ comp cases. She developed case strategy, managed discovery and was involved in extensive fact investigation and exhibit preparation. She negotiated settlements and refined her litigation skills in hearings and trials. As an Associate Attorney at Albert & MacKenzie in Concord, Ms. Nasser was introduced to workers’ comp defense, representing third-party administrators in insurance claims.

At RW Lynch in San Ramon, she was In-House Counsel for a national network of law firms specializing in personal injury litigation. She also drafted sales contracts, licensing and marketing agreements and other documents related to commerce. She ensured that the company was in compliance with the laws and regulations for all 50 State Bar Associations, as well as privacy and data and consumer law. She negotiated with attorneys nationwide on matters regarding fraud and debt collection.

She began her legal career as a Contract Attorney for Precision Consulting Management in Walnut Creek, where she worked on general business matters for a law firm engaged in wrongful foreclosure and bankruptcy. She worked closely with Silicon Valley tech companies, negotiating IRS settlements and penalty abatements.

Ms. Nasser volunteered as a legal advisor for the Council on American-Islamic Relations in San Mateo, and was a legal intern for the Schoenberg Family Law Group in San Francisco and for Sacramento Child Advocates in the state capital.

Ms. Nasser received her Juris Doctor from the University of California Davis School of Law, where she was Editor of the Environmental Law and Policy Journal, a Board Member of the Trial Practice club, and a Member of the Humanitarian Aid Legal Association and the Middle Eastern/South Asian Law Student Association. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she received several scholarships for academic merit.
