Their presentation, "Making the Most of Your 5-Minutes of Fame: How to Obtain Settlement Authority from City Council or the School Board During Closed Session Meetings," will discuss ways to maximize the limited time provided when requesting settlement authority. It will also provide insights on how to quickly establish credibility, as well as respectfully help the decision-makers understand exposure, presumptions, and overall workers’ compensation procedures.
