Mr. Morkos, Associate Attorney, represents self-insured employers, insurance carriers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense, managing all aspects of litigation from claim inception to trial and appellate proceedings.
Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Mr. Morkos was an associate attorney for Albert and Mackenzie where he specialized in workers’ compensation defense. Previously, Mr. Morkos also served as in-house counsel in the workers’ compensation division for Liberty Mutual. He also served as a Law Clerk for Fragomen, Del Rey & Lowey and the Ventura County District Attorney.
Mr. Morkos received his Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he won a CALI award in Criminal Procedure and a Witkin award in Evidence. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, where he founded the UCSB Coptic Club.
Mr. Morkos speaks fluent Arabic and conversational ASL.
