Rosa Williams

Ms. Williams, Managing Partner of the San Diego office, is a bar-certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. She represents insurance carriers, self-insured employers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense.

Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Ms. Williams was an Associate at Bradford & Barthel in San Diego, specializing in workers’ compensation defense, and an Associate Attorney with Gray and Prouty in San Diego, also managing workers’ compensation cases. She was an Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Wayne Wong in Honolulu, Hawaii, drafting documents and representing insurance companies before the Disability Compensation Division and Labor Appeals Board.

She has worked as a Claims Adjuster for insurance companies in San Diego and Hawaii, and a Rehabilitation Counselor for Fremont Insurance Co. in Fresno.

She was a Law Clerk with the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission, and a Student Assistant with the Joint Conference of the Asian Pacific American Law Teachers and the Western Law Teachers of Color in Hawaii.

Ms. Williams received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Hawaii William Richardson School of Law in Manoa, where she was Comments Editor of the Asian Pacific Law and Policy Journal. She received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Fresno, and has completed coursework toward her master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling.

She is a member of the bar associations in California and Hawaii, and speaks and writes fluent Spanish.
