Ms. Badillo, Audit Compliance Officer, supports the administration of Michael Sullivan & Associates’ Audits and Regulatory Compliance Department, which offers comprehensive audit defense and general consulting services for self-insured and insured employers, as well as third-party administrators.
Before joining Michael Sullivan and Associates, Ms. Badillo served as Assistant Vice President of Workers’ Compensation for Sedgwick (TPA). she has a strong operational background with over 30 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation Claims and has a passion for customer service. She was responsible for the overall operational performance of two multi-client claim offices, with over 150 employees. She instilled a culture of high accountability resulting in consistently strong results. She has a thorough understanding of claims practices and successfully passed California State audits as well as internal, carrier and broker audits.
Previously, Ms. Badillo worked as Director of Complex Claims in workers’ compensation for Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she managed a team challenged with resolving complex and catastrophic claims with high medical and indemnity exposure.
Ms. Badillo holds a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. She holds a California Self-Insurance Plans (SIP) Certificate and is fluent in Spanish.
