Ms. Takhar, Associate Attorney, represents the defense in workers’ compensation claims. She conducts research, drafts documents and correspondence and assists in discovery and the analysis of medical reporting.
Prior to joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Ms. Takhar worked as an associate attorney at Nadia Yakoob & Associates, where she practiced immigration law. As a law student, Ms. Takhar worked as a certified law student at the John F. Kennedy University Housing Advocacy Clinic, providing legal support to low-income clients. Ms. Takhar has also worked as a paralegal for the SW Law Group, Stoddard Law Offices, and as a paralegal intern for Scott Cole & Associates. She also holds a CIPP/US certification in privacy regulations.
Ms. Takhar received her Juris Doctor degree from the John F. Kennedy College of Law. She holds an ABA accredited paralegal certification from the same institution. Ms. Takhar also received an M.A. in Art Business from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, England and a Foundation Certificate in Art Law from the Institute of Art and Law, also in London. Ms. Takhar also holds a B.A. in Art History from California State University, Long Beach.
