Ms. Georggin, associate attorney, represents employers, insurance carriers, and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation. Ms. Georggin brings to Michael Sullivan & Associates a reputation for strategic advocacy, effective negotiation, and appellate work.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Georggin served as minors’ and parents’ counsel for the Juvenile Defense Panel where she worked alongside Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASA, to represent children navigating the court system. Through that work, as well as fundraising initiatives, Ms. Georggin has made a meaningful impact on CASA’s mission advocating for children in and outside the court system.
Ms. Georggin has also served as an associate attorney for the law offices of Wallin & Klarich and Bridgman, Mordkin & Shapiro. She began her legal career as a judicial extern at the Federal District Court with the Honorable Linda H. McLaughlin. Then she became a law clerk at the Federal Public Defenders Office and subsequently for the District Attorney’s Office in the North Municipal Court.
Ms. Georggin received her Juris Doctor degree from Western State University, College of Law. During her time in law school, she won the American Jurisprudence Awards for legal writing II, was awarded the Justice Warren J. Ferguson Moot Court honors for best oralist team, received the Student Bar Association Distinguished Student Award, and Who’s Who in American Universities & Colleges. She proudly holds a B.A. in liberal studies from San Diego State University.
