Mr. Pando, Associate Attorney, represents employers, insurance carriers, and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation. He is a zealous and tactful advocate, committed to representing his clients and the law with integrity and excellence.
Prior to joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, he was a staff attorney at Kids in Need of Defense, where he represented clients placed in the Office of Refugee Resettlement programs with California foster agencies. He began working at KIND as an interim paralegal before his subsequent promotions to law clerk and then staff attorney.
Mr. Pando served as an intern for Mil Mujeres Legal Services and as a paralegal for the Ranchod Law Group, Mendoza and Campos Law Offices, P.C., The Law Office of Jennifer L. Hennessey, and Kobayashi Law Office, where he supported attorneys practicing immigration law. Mr. Pando has also worked as a family detention volunteer and bond team member for the Cara Pro Bono Project supporting asylum seekers in Texas.
Previously, Mr. Pando also served as a legal secretary for the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration and as an office coordinator for the community legal services department of the McGeorge School of Law.
Mr. Pando received his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. He also holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
