Ms. Dawson, associate attorney, represents the defense in all aspects of workers’ compensation. She develops litigation strategy; analyzes complex medical reports; conducts discovery; attends hearings, conferences, and trials, appearing before Workers’ Compensation Appeal Boards throughout California. With her husband, Ms. Dawson is a small business owner, so she is intimately acquainted with the needs of business owners and is eager to provide the right advice, efficiently.
Prior to joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Ms. Dawson was an attorney for Nor Cal Attorney Brokers, where she handled civil litigation cases with a 95% success rate. Previously, Ms. Dawson was an attorney for Ticket Crushers, Criminal Defense Attorneys, where she worked with district attorneys to settle cases before trial, and for Dawson Legal Services where she managed estate planning, family law cases, and made contract appearances in criminal and civil litigation. Ms. Dawson also worked as senior legal counsel for Investment Retrievers.
Ms. Dawson received her Juris Doctor degree from Lincoln Law School. She also holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Chapman University, where she graduate magna cum laude.
