Ms. Talwar, associate attorney, represents defense in all aspects of workers’ compensation, with particular expertise working with insurance carriers. She develops litigation strategy; analyzes complex medical reports; conducts discovery; and attends hearings, conferences, and trials, appearing before Workers’ Comp Appeal Boards throughout California.
Prior to returning to Michael Sullivan & Attorneys, Ms. Talwar served as a staff attorney for St. John’s Community Health. In that role, she managed a diverse caseload providing legal representation and counsel in matters involving employment, immigration, personal injury, elder abuse, and estate planning and supported federally-funded initiatives that delivered legal assistance to underserved populations affected by hate crimes, discrimination, and related legal issues.
Ms. Talwar earned her Juris Doctor degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. She also holds a BComm in Retail Management from Ryerson Polytechnic University and a B.A. in Political Science from Delhi University.
In addition to being fluent in English and Hindi, she is proficient in written French and speaks conversational Punjabi and Urdu.
