Ms. Bassi, associate attorney, represents employers, insurance carriers, and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation. Ms. Bassi is also a certified mediator.
Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Ms. Bassi was a workers’ compensation defense attorney for Lenahan, Slater, Pearse & Majernik. She began at that firm as a law clerk before her subsequent promotion. Ms. Bassi began her legal career as a law clerk for the Office of Sacramento City Attorney, where she assisted deputy city attorneys in code enforcement, litigation, and general counsel.
Ms. Bassi received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she served as team lead in the Elder & Health Law Clinic. Ms. Bassi also holds a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Davis.
Ms. Bassi speaks fluent Punjabi, as well as conversational Urdu and Hindi.
