Mr. Cohen, associate attorney, is an experienced litigator who represents both public and private employers in connection with labor and employment and complex litigation matters. A former plaintiff-side attorney, Mr. Cohen brings vital experience and perspective to the firm.
Prior to joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Mr. Cohen was an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Reisner & King LLP, where he represented plaintiffs in a variety of employment cases. Previously, he was an associate attorney for Trujillo & Winnick. He began as a law clerk at that firm before his subsequent promotion.
Mr. Cohen has also served as a law clerk for Derek Smith Law Group and Hosp, Gilbert & Bergsten. As a law student, Mr. Cohen served as a judicial intern to the Honorable R. Gary Klausner on the United States District Court in the Central District of California. Before pursuing a career in law, Mr. Cohen worked in labor and employee relations for UCLA Health.
Mr. Cohen received his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he was also awarded a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Mr. Cohen also holds a B.A. in American History from University of Maryland, College Park.
