Ms. Andes, Hearing Representative, represents insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and public entities in workers’ compensation lien defense.
Since joining the firm in 2011, Ms. Andes has achieved favorable “take nothing” decisions at trial, provided presentations for clients on persistent lien issues, moved deftly between aggressive litigation and quick file closure to meet specific insurance carrier requirements, as well as coordinated the firm’s lien hearing calendar.
Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, she was a Hearing Representative at Pinnacle Lien Services in Corona, where she co-managed the legal department and appeared before WCABs in Los Angeles and Orange counties to settle or litigate liens. She also compiled hearing reports and drafted legal documents. As a receptionist at Valley Medical Services in Santa Ana, Ms. Andes created and managed patient files, scheduled AME and QME evaluations, and maintained communication with doctors and attorneys to ensure the timely issue of medical reports.
Ms. Andes is a graduate of Tustin High School.
