Ms. Juteau, Hearing Representative, represents insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and public entities in workers’ compensation lien defense. She has more than 35 years of experience in workers’ compensation and civil litigation.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Juteau was a Lien Specialist/Hearing Representative for Black and Rose in Irvine, where she established the lien unit and conducted training seminars for clients and potential clients. Previously she served as a Hearing Representative at StrataCare in Irvine as an expert bill review witness throughout California, including interstate hearings, Health Management Systems representing the Department of Health Care Services/Medi-Cal, and Southern California Medical-Legal Consultants in Seal Beach, representing Trauma Level Hospitals.
Ms. Juteau began her career with liens while specializing in small claims and civil litigation. Thereafter, she was an administrative assistant at a medical facility treating WC & PI patients, where she oversaw all legal required filings, billing, and collections, including appearances. She developed a DOS program that would remind the staff when legal filings were due. Ms. Juteau also was the owner and partner of the Experts Collectors Network, where she litigated small claims.
Before focusing on lien claimants and lien hearings, Ms. Juteau worked for several workers’ compensation and civil defense firms in Southern California in a variety of administrative and legal-support positions.
Ms. Juteau is a graduate of Dana Hills High School. She speaks conversational French.
