Mr. Gonzalez, senior attorney, is a certified specialist in workers’ compensation. He represents employers, insurance carriers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation. He develops legal strategy for discovery, investigation, conferences and trials. He analyzes medical reporting and complex medical records, and resolves lien issues.
Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, he was an Associate Attorney at Peel Garcia in Fresno, representing insurance companies and subcontractors in matters of personal injury and construction defects. In addition to conducting research and discovery, he attended conferences and hearings, and coordinated the case flow for his legal colleagues. At Laughlin, Falbo, Levi & Moresi in Fresno, Mr. Gonzalez was a Law Clerk. He performed a wide range of support functions in workers’ compensation defense cases, conducting research, summarizing medical records, drafting documents and coordinating staff efforts.
Before his legal career, Mr. Gonzalez was involved in commercial TV production in Hollywood, working as a Production Assistant for Smuggler, whose accounts included major American companies.
Mr. Gonzalez received his Juris Doctor degree from the San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis, where he was the recipient of a Witkin Award for criminal procedure. He received his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
