Ms. Elkhattat, Partner, is a Bar-certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation. She oversees the work of junior attorneys, and handles a significant caseload of workers’ compensation defense files from inception to resolution. Before her promotion, she was a Senior Attorney for the firm, representing insurance carriers, self-insured employers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense.

Before joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, she was an Associate Attorney for Black and Rose in Irvine, representing insurance carriers, self-insured employers and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense. Her caseload was largely the result of referrals from Sedgwick, BBSI, Liberty Mutual, Employers Insurance Co., ESIS and CNA.

Nadine was an Associate Attorney at Adelson, Testan, Brundo & Jimenez in Santa Ana, also practicing workers’ compensation defense with a caseload of 120 files representing AIG/Chartis, Gallagher Bassett, Zurich, York and The Hartford. At Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi in Anaheim, she represented insurance companies and self-insured employers with a caseload of more than 90 files.

Nadine was an Attorney with Gareeb Pham in Woodland Hills, also in workers’ compensation defense, focusing on general liability and third-party subrogation claims. She appeared before all WCABs in Southern California.

She began her career in workers’ compensation defense as an Associate Attorney with Grancell, Lebovitz, Stander, Barnes & Reubens in Riverside, where she conducted discovery, reviewed medical documents and assisted with depositions and lien trial preparation.

Nadine received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, where she was a Staff Member/Editor for the Race & Poverty Law Journal and a Mentor for the moot court program. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Irvine, where she was on the Dean’s Honor List for three years.

Nadine is fluent in Arabic.
