Ms. Martin, associate attorney, represents the defense in all aspects of workers’ compensation, with an expertise working with insurance carriers. Ms. Martin brings to Michael Sullivan & Associates a unique blend of legal, medical-legal, and operational experience.

Before joining Michael Sullivan and Associates, she served as an Attorney and Legal Program Director for a national medical-legal initiative focused on expanding access to forensic pathology and autopsy services across the country. In that role, she worked closely with some of the nation’s leading forensic pathologists and public health experts to coordinate complex medical-legal case reviews. She has also served as an attorney practicing Intellectual Property Law in the Law Offices of Vernon R. Yancy.

Ms. Martin interned with the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, Intellectual Property Subcommittee where she researched intellectual property policy and trademark litigation.

Ms. Martin received her Juris Doctor Degree from the Arizona University Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law. She also holds a Master of Laws Degree, focusing on intellectual property, and a B.A. in Sociology, Law, and Society.

Beyond her legal practice, Nicole is deeply committed to youth empowerment, mentorship, and expanding access to educational opportunities within underserved communities. She serves as the Director of Development for LegallyBlack, a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to empower and enlighten underrepresented communities on the value of intellectual property protection. She also serves as the Youth Outreach Chair for the John M. Langston Bar Association, where she inspires youth throughout Los Angeles encouraging the next generation of attorneys and community leaders to pursue careers in law.
