Ms. Ripple, Senior Attorney, brings a wealth of experience to our firm having started as a legal secretary for a boutique workers’ compensation defense firm in 1999. In addition to representing public agencies, she also defends third-party administrators, and corporations in all aspects of workers’ compensation, from case inception to resolution. Ms. Ripple also has experience representing employers in defending claims under Labor Code Section 132(a) and Serious & Willful Misconduct claims.
Before joining Michael Sullivan and Associates, Ms. Ripple was a Senior Attorney at Stockwell, Harris, Woolverton & Fox, specializing in workers’ compensation defense. Previously, she was an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Crystal Cunningham and Tower Legal Group, PC. Ms. Ripple has also provided pro bono appellant work for the California Innocence Project.
While in law school, Ms. Ripple worked at Morse, Giesler, Callister & Karlin, LLP as a paralegal and hearing representative. Ms. Ripple also worked as a Bar Certified Legal Intern for the San Joaquin County Public Defender’s Office and as a law clerk at Rahn, Murphy, & Young, LLP.
Ms. Ripple received her Juris Doctor degree from Laurence Drivon School of Law. She also holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of the Pacific.
