Ms. Ureta-Fulan, associate attorney, represents self-insured employers, third-party administrators and corporations in all aspects of workers’ compensation. She manages cases from inception through resolution, conducting research and depositions, drafting documents and analyzing medical records. She attends hearings, conferences and trials in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Prior to joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Ms. Ureta-Fulan worked as a litigation staff attorney for the Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) in San Francisco. She began at the EDC as a law fellow before her subsequent promotion. Ms. Ureta-Fulan has also worked as a law clerk for Legal Aid at Work and the Immigration Center for Women and Children and as a law fellow for the California Department of Justice. She began her career in law as a research associate, and then senior research associate, for Thomas Reuters, Westlaw.
Ms. Ureta-Fulan received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of Law. She won CALI awards for Advance Legislative Process and for Public Law and Policy Work Group. She also holds a B.A. in English and Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ms. Ureta-Fulan speaks fluent Spanish and conversational Portuguese.
