Ms. Kalra, senior attorney, represents employers in a wide range of employment matters.. Ms. Kalra also regularly speaks to legal professional organizations on topics including trial preparation and litigation docketing.

Prior to joining Michael Sullivan & Attorneys, Ms. Kalra was a senior associate attorney at Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP, where she represented clients in a wide range of employment law matters, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, PAGA, discrimination, and retaliation cases. Previously, Ms. Kalra was an associate at Mahamedi IP Law LLP, where she represented clients in employment litigation and business litigation matters, and provided advice and counsel to clients in employment matters and in business matters to reduce risk. In addition, she served as general counsel for Mahamedi IP Law LLP, and as senior litigation calendar coordinator for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC. As a solo practitioner, Ms. Kalra has assisted clients with employment litigation and business litigation matters. She was an associate attorney for Trial & Technology Law Group, representing technology companies in litigation matters in a variety of industries. She began her legal career as an associate attorney at Nolan & Armstrong, representing individuals charged with criminal offenses, including white collar crimes.

Ms. Kalra received her Juris Doctor Degree from Golden Gate University School of Law where she was a staff writer for the student newspaper and won an American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Writing and Research. Ms. Kalra also holds a B.A. in liberal studies with a philosophy emphasis from California State University, East Bay.

Outside of work, Ms. Kalra is an avid reader, often reading two or three books at a time, usually in the company of her 26-pound cat, Milo.
