Mr. Sonti, a hearing representative, represents insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and public entities in workers’ compensation lien defense.
Prior to joining Michael Sullivan & Associates, Mr. Sonti served as a law clerk for Mullen & Filippi, LLP. While a law student, he worked as a law clerk for Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., and as a judicial clerk for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also completed a number of externships, including with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. District Court.
Before pursuing a career in law, Mr. Sonti served in the San Jose Conservation Corps, where he helped develop a food-rescue program to address food insecurity and mentored local youth.
Mr. Sonti received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was the notes and submissions editor for the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal. He also holds a B.A. in economics from San Jose State University, where he was awarded departmental honors in economics and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
