Mr. Hurlow, Associate Attorney, represents insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation. Mr. Hurlow also serves as a military attorney for the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and is a member of the army reserves.
Prior to joining Michael Sullivan and Associates, Mr. Hurlow was a contract manager for Preston Pipelines, Inc, where he drafted terms and conditions to minimize company losses and maximize financial performance. While a law student, Mr. Hurlow served as a certified student counsel for the 9th Circuit Immigration Appellant Clinic and a policy research fellow for the Panetta Institute. He was also a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division and a judicial extern for the San Mateo County Superior Court.
Mr. Hurlow received his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law School, where he was treasurer of the Student Bar Association and served as a cadet in the US Army Reserve Officer Training Program (ROTC). He also holds a B.A. Cinema Studies from San Francisco State University.
